Privacy policy

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: June 2026.

One Life At A Time, Inc. (“One Life At A Time,” “we,” “us”) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to provide, such as when you make a donation, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, and donation details. Payment information (such as card numbers) is entered directly into our third-party payment processor and is never collected or stored by us.

How we use your information

Donor privacy commitment

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any other organization for their marketing purposes. Donor information is used only to support our mission and to maintain our relationship with you. You may request at any time that we limit how often we contact you, or that we remove you from our lists entirely.

Payment security

Online donations are processed through a reputable, PCI-compliant third-party payment provider over an encrypted connection. Your payment details are handled by that provider under their own privacy and security policies; we receive only the information needed to acknowledge and record your gift.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use basic cookies or analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These tools may collect non-identifying information such as pages visited and general location. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted third parties — such as our payment processor, email service, and website host — to operate. These providers may process your information only as needed to deliver their services to us, and are expected to keep it secure.

Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Photographs of the children and communities we serve are shared with appropriate permission to tell the story of our work.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@onelifeatime.org. We will respond promptly and in line with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
